Visit InterPokerSummary - Avg. 6.58  InterPoker has improved its software and increased its traffic. The software has good options and performance with acceptable table graphics. The variety of games is somewhat limited and most of InterPoker's traffic is in Texas Holdem at low and middle limits. You can find loose games with 40% to %50 of players seeing the flop in full cash games. Many players are casino patrons who like to play loose poker for gambling fun. InterPoker runs several promotions for its players, including WSOP qualifiers, guaranteed tournaments, and My Player Points. The sign-up bonus is generous for a small deposit: $25 gets a $100 bonus. And that bonus is repeated each month for a redeposit of $25. Expect continued increases in traffic as the Cryptologic network grows.
Visit InterPokerSoftware - 6  The InterPoker software, a Cryptologic skin, has good features with only minor deficiencies. The lobby gives good information for choosing cash games. But it does not have a filter for the 3 currencies in which the games are played, namely, dollars, pounds, and euros. So, you must look closely to find the currency with which you are familiar and comfortable. The software has a good set of options to control betting buttons, sounds, chat, and the display of cards and information. The table graphics are smooth in function but overstuffed in appearance with chairs, side tables, and carpeting. The games play at a good hands-per-hour rate. Table options, hand histories, and notes are easy to access and use. You can play on multiple tables.
Competition - 8  InterPoker has some soft poker competition, largely because some of its clientele come from related casinos to play poker as a diversion from their first games of choice, blackjack, craps, and so on. Even at ten-handed tables, you will see players at the flop in the 40% to 50%+ range. The tournaments are relatively easy too because they do not yet attract tournament pros routinely.
Game Variety - 5  The variety of games is somewhat limited: Texas Holdem, 7 Card Stud, Omaha, and Omaha HiLow. There are 6 seats at the Holdem short-handed tables. Texas Holdem has heads-up tables for cash games. Games are played in dollars, pounds, or euros.
Cash Game Traffic - 6  Cash game traffic, mostly Texas Holdem players, peaks between 1,500 and 2,000. There are not many players at the higher limits.
Tournament Structure - 7  Tournament structures are rather fast and steep, forcing end-game all-in plays sooner rather than later. The lobby's tournament information is incomplete, omitting chip counts, blind levels, and intervals; so, choosing a tournament can be a blind adventure. The "single-table tournaments" have $1,000 starting chips and fast levels, which go up every 8 to 12 hands.
Tournament Traffic - 6  Tournament traffic is moderate, 2,000 to 3,000 at the best times. The "single-table tournaments" (sit-&-go's) take a while to fill up and start.
Rake Amount - 5  The rake is 5% to a maximum of $3.00. There are no smaller maximums for low-limit games and 2 to 5 players as on other sites. Tournament fees are comparable to those of other sites, 10% on small and middle buy-ins, less on higher buy-ins.
Sign-up Bonus - 5  Deposit $25 or more and InterPoker award a bonus of up to a $100. To clear your bonus, play 5 times the bonus amount in raked hands. For example, a $100 bonus requires 500 raked hands. A raked hand is defined as any hand where at least $1 (or £/€) is taken as rake—a $20 pot or more. A rake between $0.25 and $0.99 (or £/€) counts as 1/4 of a raked hand. You do not have to contribute to the pot to get the rake credit.
Player Bonuses - 7  The monthly reload bonus is the same as the sign-up bonus: deposit $25 or more for a $100 bonus. InterPoker now awards My Poker Points (MPP's) for cash game play. One MPP is earned by playing a hand in which the rake reaches 1 unit ($/£/€). One-fourth MPP is earned by playing a hand in which the rake reaches 0.25 to 0.99 units. Use MPP's to enter MPP tournaments. (InterPoker promises other MPP redemptions in the future.)
Promotions - 8  InterPoker offers some guaranteed tournaments, for example, the SixPak $600,000 guaranteed short-handed tournament. InterPoker also adds overlays to some tournaments. It has qualifiers to the World Series of Poker and the Caribbean Poker Classic. There is a bad beat jackpot. Cash game players can play as proposition players in short-handed games for $10 to $30 prorated on 6-minute intervals.
Support - 8  Support is provided by email and telephone. Toll-free numbers are available for the U.S., Canada, U.K., and several other countries.
Cash In/Out - 8  Deposit via Visa, Mastercard, Neteller, Firepay, Citadel, Electronic Cheque, ECash, wire transfer, or check. Withdraw via Neteller, Firepay, Citadel, Electronic Cheque, ECash, wire transfer, or check.
