Visit Full Tilt PokerSummary - Avg. 7.58  Full Tilt Poker has grown fast because of its tv promotions and its endorsement by famous pros: Howard Lederer, Phil Ivey, Chris Ferguson, John Juanda, Jennifer Harman, Phil Gordon, Erick Lindgren, Erik Seidel, Clonie Gowen, Andy Bloch, and Mike Matusow. These pros and others associated with Full Tilt do play on the site. The software is easy to use and the play is fast. The hand history is graphic--the best in the business. The sign-up bonus is generous. It is paid in $20 increments. Support is provided by email, and a forum provides additional help. The game variety is good. Most action is in Texas Holdem and Omaha Holdem, but there are other games, including stud and HORSE. The traffic is very good, peaking around 65,000. With so much traffic, you can use table selection to find some soft games. The multi-table and sit-&-go tournament structures are good. Tournaments are varied and plentiful.
Visit Full Tilt PokerSoftware - 8  Full Tilt's software plays fast. You can play multiple tables and resize them in a variety of ways. There are many options for customizing your playing experience, including the shape of the table, backgrounds, animation, and bottom-center seating. Players can have cartoonish avatars--but you can hide them. The chat and information box is small, but you can float it away from the table and enlarge it. You can must all chat or just that of selected players. The hand-history screen looks like the table itself, making it the best of all sites for a quick review. You can filter Texas Holdem table by high, medium, and low stakes. And you can filter multi-table and sit-&-go tournaments with several options.
Competition - 7  Except at the highest stakes, competition is moderate to soft. At high stakes, you can find professional players who are famous in live or online play. The 9-seat tables, as usual, are significantly tighter than the 6-seat tables.
Game Variety - 8  The games provided are: Texas Holdem, Omaha Holdem, Omaha HiLow, 7 Card Stud, 7 Card Stud HiLow, and Razz. In addition, there are mixed games, for example, H.O.R.S.E., which consist of two or more of the following: limit Holdem, Omaha HiLow, Razz, 7 Card Stud, and 7 Card Stud HiLow (eight or better).
Cash Game Traffic - 9  Cash game traffic is 6,000 to 10,000 at peak time in the evening, and it is strong throughout the day.
Tournament Structure - 8  Full Tilt has a good multi-table tournament structure with 1,500 starting chips in standard tournaments. High-stakes and deep-stack tournaments start with more. Blind escalation is reasonably slow, except, of course, in turbo tournaments. The sit-&-go tournaments start with 1,500 chips, and blind escalation is good.
Tournament Traffic - 8  Tournament traffic is excellent. Sit-&-go tables at medium and low stakes fill up reasonably fast.
Rake Amount - 6  The 5% rake is capped at $3 in $2/$4 games and higher, and $1 in lower games. Rake isn't taken on no-flop hands. The rake policy is among the best online.
Sign-up Bonus - 8  The Full Tilt sign-up bonus is one of the highest available. It is paid out in $20 increments. According t the site: "For each dollar raked from a pot, every player...will earn one point. You can earn partial points if less than one dollar is raked, ...up to three points per hand.
