Visit Titan PokerSummary - Avg. 6.92  Titan Poker is new, and consequently, it has low traffic. Fortunately, most of the traffic is loose, passive players. Many are casino gamblers playing poker as a diversion. So, you can find soft cash games and easy tournaments. The games are all micro, low, or middle stakes, the highest being $50/$100 limit and $10/$20 no limit. Most play is in $2/$4 or lower, as low as $0.01/$0.02. Tournament structures are rather fast. The sit-n-go tournaments fill slowly outside peak hours. The software is easy to use, and when it is installing, it offers a choice of languages. Support is available by email, phone, and (sometimes) online chat. The sign-up bonus is high but it may clear slowly if you play the lowest limits.
Visit Titan PokerSoftware - 8  The software is stable, fairly attractive, and fast in play. When you install it, you can choose from five languages to use, English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian. The lobby uses notebook tabs to separate the games, limits, and types of tables, making the choice of tables an easy task. You can play up to three tables at a time. The cards are large for easy reading but a four-color deck is not available. There are quite a few options for the tables, allowing you to play with or without avatars, a dealer voice, players' voices, player chat, and observer chat. The graphical hand history is easy to access but understanding its display is not intuitive. The history does show hands mucked at showdown. Text histories are not available.
Competition - 9  The games are soft with high percentages of players seeing the flop and playing unaggressively. Many players are casino gamblers who play for fun.
Game Variety - 4  Titan has a limited variety of games, offering only Texas Holdem, Omaha, and Omaha HiLow. There are heads-up tables for the cash games and tournaments. Biggest stakes are $50/$100 in limit Texas Holdem, $10/$20 in no limit Texas Holdem. The top stakes are smaller in other games.
Cash Game Traffic - 5  Titan has 900 to 1,300 cash game players in peak hours. Most action is in low stakes games at six-max tables.
Tournament Structure - 6  The multi-table tournament structure is fast with 10-minute levels and only $1,000 in starting chips even at higher buy-ins. The sit-n-go tournaments have 7-minute levels.
Tournament Traffic - 5  Tournament traffic ranges between 1,500 and 2,500 players.
Rake Amount - 6  For no limit and pot limit, the rake is the standard 5% of the pot with a maximum of $1.00, $2.00, or $3.00, depending on the number of players. Limit games are raked 5%, but for games of $1/$2 and under, there is no rake on pots under $5.00. For limit games of $2/$4 and above, there is no rake on pots under $10.00.
Sign-up Bonus - 8  The sign-up bonus is very generous in the amount but somewhat slow to clear. One bonus point is awarded for a cash-game rake of $.25 to $.50, 2 points for $.51 to $1.00, 4 points for $1.01 to $1.50, 6 for $1.51 to $2.00, and 8 for $2.01 to $3.00. Twenty points are awarded for each $1 of tournament fees. For every 400 points, $5 of the bonus is released.
Player Bonuses - 7  Titan Poker's VIP Club has 5 levels, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Titanium. Each level offers faster points accumulation, freeroll tournaments, and special bonus terms for reloads. Points are awarded in the Bronze level, where new players start, as described in 'Sign-up Bonus' above. Players are assigned to a VIP Level based on their Point average over the past 3 months, as follows: Silver for 2000 points, Gold for 5000, Platinum for 10000, and Titanium for 20000.
Promotions - 7  Titan runs satellites to the World Series of Poker. It also has jackpot promotions of $2,000 to $25,000 for winning or placing in several consecutive sit-n-go tournaments.
Support - 9  Support is available by email, telephone, fax, and 'Live Online Support' in the software's lobby. Toll-free numbers are provided for the US and the UK. Responses are generally fast but sometimes off the mark.
Cash In/Out - 9  Deposit via Neteller, Citadel, Firepay, Moneybookers, InstaCash, InstaDebit, EcoCard, UseMyBank, Visa, MasterCard, wire transfer, personal check, and bank draft. Withdraw via Neteller, Firepay, Moneybookers, InstaDebit, EcoCard, wire transfer, and bank draft.
